What we store

ClawHost stores your email address, billing information (via PayPal), and agent configuration (name, tone, persona). We do not store your AI memory — it lives on your own dedicated VPS.

Your memory is yours

All OpenClaw memory files are stored at /root/.openclaw/memory/ on your dedicated Ubuntu VPS. We have no access to the content of your conversations. You can download, edit, and delete your memory at any time via the dashboard or SSH.

Control plane access

ClawHost's control plane holds a provisioning SSH key with root access to your agent VPS. This key is used exclusively for: initial provisioning, config updates you trigger from the dashboard, and memory export operations you initiate. All provisioning key operations are logged. You can audit your machine at any time using your own SSH key.

Third-party services

• PayPal — payment processing. We never see your card number.
• Clerk — authentication. Stores your email and session tokens.
• Interserver — VPS provider. Your machine physically runs on their infrastructure.
• DeepSeek — AI API. Messages sent to your agent are processed by DeepSeek's API unless you use BYOK.

Data deletion

When you cancel, your VPS is decommissioned 30 days after cancellation. We send a reminder email with a memory export link 7 days before. Download your memory ZIP before cancelling — we cannot recover it after deletion.
